Which LED driver do I need?

List the LED light bars and strip you're fitting. We'll add up the watts, pick the right Emuca SMART 24V driver with safe headroom, and add the cables, kits and switches you need – then put the lot in your basket.

1. Your lights

Add one line for each type of light. A "piece" is one separate run of light, for example one bar under one wall cabinet.

Rule we use
Driver at least 20% bigger than the total watts, and no more than 6 lights per driver (each SMART driver has 6 plug-in outlets).

Good to know

  • Watts usedPyxis bars use 8 W per metre (19 W for 2.3 m, 23 W for 2.9 m). Lynx COB strip uses 9.6 W per metre. Neonlynx neon uses 7.2 W per metre.
  • Cutting bars and stripPyxis bars can be cut to length – each extra cut piece needs a Pyxis accessory kit (end caps and 1.5 m cable). Each run of COB strip needs a Lynx Z connection cable.
  • All 24VEvery light here runs on 24V, so it needs a 24V SMART driver. 12V drivers are for 12V lights only.
