How to choose shoe carousels
A rotating shoe carousel uses the full height of a wardrobe for shoes: a central post with wire shelves that swing out 180° so every pair is in reach, then rotate back inside. It holds far more than shoes on the floor and keeps them off the carpet.
Choosing a size
Carousels are sold by the number of shelves, and each size suits a range of internal wardrobe height – the post is telescopic within that range:
| Shelves | Internal height | Approx. pairs |
|---|---|---|
| 4 shelf | 770–920 mm | 12 |
| 6 shelf | 1050–1200 mm | 18 |
| 8 shelf | 1330–1480 mm | 24 |
| 10 shelf | 1610–1760 mm | 30 |
| 12 shelf | 1890–2040 mm | 36 |
Measure from the wardrobe floor to the shelf or top panel above where the carousel will sit, then choose the size whose range includes that number. Each eco-leather shelf holds three pairs of adult shoes, the top shelf is height adjustable, and the frame rotates 180° on a bottom-mounted guide rail with soft close.
Fitting
The frame fixes to the wardrobe floor and the panel above with the fixings supplied, so it sits at the side of the wardrobe and swings out past the door; the soft-close damper eases it back in. Allow the full depth of a standard wardrobe for the shelves to clear when rotating. Available in white, black and anthracite to match the pull-out baskets and shoe drawers in our wardrobe storage range.
