Frequently asked questions
Delivery, returns, trade accounts and fitting advice, answered by the people who fit these parts every week.
Delivery & dispatch
Everything is held in stock in Peterborough and sent by Parcelforce 48, tracked.
How much is UK delivery?
UK delivery is Parcelforce 48 tracked and is priced by the weight of your parcel: £4.99 up to 2 kg, £7.99 up to 5 kg, £9.99 up to 10 kg, £14.99 up to 20 kg and £19.99 up to 30 kg. One charge covers the whole order, however many items you add, and you see the exact cost at checkout before you pay.
Spend £150 or more and UK delivery is free – it is taken off automatically at checkout.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Orders are dispatched the same or next working day, Monday to Friday. Parcelforce 48 then delivers within two working days, so most orders arrive two to three working days after you order. We do not dispatch at weekends or on bank holidays.
How do I track my parcel?
You get a Parcelforce tracking number by email as soon as your order is dispatched. Use it on our track your order page, or sign in to your account to see every order and its tracking link in one place.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes. Delivery to the EU is £14.99 and to the rest of the world £23.99, sent tracked. Any import duty or VAT in the destination country is paid by the customer.
Can I collect from Peterborough?
We are a working unit rather than a shop, so we do not offer walk-in collection. Local fitters placing larger trade orders can get in touch and we will see what we can arrange.
Returns & refunds
30-day hassle-free returns on everything, on top of your legal rights.
What is your returns policy?
You can return any item within 30 days of delivery. If you have simply changed your mind, the item needs to be unused, complete with all fixings and instructions, and in its original packaging so we can resell it; you pay the return postage and we recommend a tracked service. Full details are in our returns policy.
What if an item arrives damaged, faulty or wrong?
We will put it right at our cost: we pay the return postage and refund your original delivery charge too. Please tell us within 48 hours of delivery about transit damage (a photo of the item and the outer box helps us claim from Parcelforce) and within 7 days about anything missing or incorrect. Email info@abjaccessories.co.uk with your order number.
How do I return something?
Email info@abjaccessories.co.uk with your order number and what you would like to return. Please do not send anything back before you hear from us – we reply with the return address and instructions. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days of the item reaching us (or of you sending proof of posting, whichever is sooner).
I ordered the wrong size – can I swap it?
Yes. The quickest way is to order the correct size now so it ships straight away, then return the wrong one for a refund under the 30-day policy. Before you reorder, use the drawer builder or the "Will it fit?" checker on each product page to confirm the right length.
Orders & payment
Secure checkout, your choice of payment, and an account that remembers your orders.
How can I pay?
All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, through Shopify's secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.
Do I need an account to order?
No, you can check out as a guest. An account is worth having though: it keeps your order history and tracking links together and makes reordering the same runners or handles a one-click job.
Can I change or cancel an order?
If it has not been dispatched yet, email info@abjaccessories.co.uk or call 07479 219421 as soon as you can and we will amend or cancel it. Once it is with Parcelforce, just return it under the 30-day policy.
Do you send a VAT invoice?
Yes. All prices include VAT and a VAT invoice is emailed with every order. If you need a copy or want it addressed to your business, email us with the order number.
Is there a discount for buying in bulk?
Yes – buy 10 or more runners, drawer boxes, handles or knobs in one order and 10% comes off automatically at checkout. Trade account holders get 10% off everything with their code on top of free delivery over £150; see the trade page.
Fitting & sizing
The questions we get asked most. Every product page also has a "Will it fit?" checker.
Which length drawer runner do I need?
Measure the internal depth of the cabinet from the front edge to the back panel, then choose the longest runner that is at least 5–10 mm shorter than that. A 500 mm deep cabinet takes a 450 mm or 500 mm runner depending on the back panel position. Runner length is always the closed length. We have written a full guide: Which drawer runner do I need?
What size drawer box do I need for an Axis Pro drawer?
Axis Pro boxes are sold by length (250–550 mm) and side height (low 86 mm, medium 120 mm, high 168 mm, extra high 199 mm). The length must be at least 10 mm less than your internal cabinet depth. The base and back panel are cut from 16 mm board: base width = internal cabinet width − 75 mm, base depth = runner length − 24 mm. The free Axis Pro calculator gives you every cut size, and the drawer builder picks the whole kit for you.
What clearance do side-mount runners need?
Versalite PLUS and PRO ball-bearing runners need 12.7 mm each side, so the drawer box is 25.4 mm (call it 26 mm) narrower than the cabinet's inner width. The H53 heavy-duty runners are thicker: 19.5 mm each side, so 39 mm narrower overall.
Will a pull-out shoe drawer or basket fit my wardrobe?
Our wardrobe pull-outs are made for 600, 700, 800 and 900 mm wide carcasses and adjust by around ±58 mm to suit 18 mm or thicker boards, so measure the inside width of the wardrobe between the side panels and pick the nearest size. They need about 485 mm of internal depth. The sizes are listed on every product page.
How much height does a shoe carousel need?
Each carousel size covers a range of internal heights: 4 shelf 770–920 mm, 6 shelf 1050–1200 mm, 8 shelf 1330–1480 mm, 10 shelf 1610–1760 mm and 12 shelf 1890–2040 mm. Measure between the wardrobe floor and the shelf or top above, then choose the size whose range includes your measurement.
What do handle sizes like 192/200 mm mean?
The first number is the hole centres (the distance between the two screw holes) and the second is the overall length of the handle. If you are replacing existing handles, match the hole centres – 128, 160, 192, 256 and 320 mm are the common sizes – and the new handle will drop straight into the old holes.
Do runners come as a pair, and are screws included?
Every runner listing is one pair (left and right), enough for one drawer. Axis Pro boxes are a complete set for one drawer. Mounting screws are not included – standard 3.5 mm or 4 mm wood screws are all you need.
Products & GTV
Who makes the fittings and why we chose them.
Are the fittings genuine GTV?
Yes. Everything we sell is a genuine GTV product. GTV is a leading Polish furniture-fittings manufacturer supplying more than 50 countries, and the same parts go into the kitchens and wardrobes we build ourselves at ABJ Kitchens & Bedrooms.
Is everything in stock in the UK?
Yes. We hold stock at our unit in Peterborough, so there is no waiting for imports. If a product shows as sold out, it is on its way back in – email us and we will tell you when.
Is there a guarantee?
GTV runners and drawer systems are built for everyday use in kitchens and bedrooms, and you are covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015: faulty goods can be rejected for a full refund within 30 days, and repaired or replaced within six months. If anything fails in normal use, get in touch and we will sort it.
Can you source a GTV product you do not list?
Usually, yes. We order from GTV regularly, so if you need a length, finish or fitting that is not on the site, send us the details and we will quote.
Trade accounts
For fitters, joiners, cabinet makers and shopfitters.
Do you supply trade customers?
Yes, and we are fitters ourselves. Approved trade accounts get 10% off the whole range with code TRADE10, bulk discounts, free delivery over £150 and straight answers from people who install these parts. Apply for a trade account – it takes a minute and is normally approved within one working day.
Can I get a quote for a larger project?
Yes. Send a list of what you need (lengths, heights, finishes and quantities) to info@abjaccessories.co.uk and we will come back with a price and lead time.
I am not sure which fitting I need – can you help?
Of course. Send your cabinet width, internal depth and height, or a photo of the existing part, and we will tell you exactly what to order. WhatsApp 07479 219421 is quickest if you are on site.
