Cabinet legs & plinth calculator

List the base and tall units that stand on legs. We’ll count the legs and plinth clips, work out how much plinth you need and put the legs in your basket in the cheapest packs.

Your units

Add a line for each unit width. Include base units, sink units and tall (larder or oven housing) units – anything that stands on legs.

The legs adjust to level uneven floors.
Ends of a run that need a side plinth (a return).
From the front plinth back to the wall. Measure on site.
E.g. 600 for an integrated dishwasher.

How we work it out

  • Legs4 legs for units up to 600 mm wide. Wider units (800 mm, 1000 mm and corner units) get 6 – an extra pair in the middle stops the base sagging.
  • Plinth clipsEach leg pack comes with one clip per leg. You only clip the plinth to the front legs, plus the back leg at each exposed end for the return – so there are always clips to spare.
  • Plinth lengthThe total width of your units, plus any gaps the plinth runs across, plus the returns. Join lengths behind a leg so the joint is supported.
